SPARES FOR OLD G WHIP MODELS:
We are getting enquiries for spares for the older models of the G Whip mobile antennas, please note that we do not supply spares for the old models, the reason for this is that there were different threads used on various models and some of the older models will not handle the now heavier duty parts/materials we use, so, sorry we cannot help with the old models. 80 MTR END FED DEVELOPMENT:
The development of the 80 mtr EFD is currently underway, note that the transmission line will be around 40 mtrs long, the unit will be housed in a fibre glass tube approx 200mm long or other housing depending on results with internal common mode choke, watch this space.....................Tests have been carried out and so far look interesting for the qrp version. The sweep is good and with 25 watts worked very well..........more later when we have carried out mods and more tests.
